Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin Calcium tablets come under the branding Macard R. It refers to the class of drugs called anti-hypertensives used to prevent high blood pressure associated with high cholesterol levels.  The medication is a group of Telmisartan and Rosuvastatin. Telmisartan is a blood pressure-lowering formulation that works by blocking the action of a hormone known as angiotensin II in the human body that causes the narrowing of blood vessels leading to high blood pressure. Thereby, it widens and relaxes blood vessels. This lowers high blood pressure. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering supplement that works by blocking liver enzymes causing the liver to make low cholesterol.
